Abstract

The case of human rights universality and relativity has become an argument among western countries and most of non-western countries. Western countries adopt human rights universal nature, while most of non-western countries decline it. The resistance of non-western countries to human rights universality generally is based on ideological, cultural, sociological, and linguistic reasons. Essentially, this case does not need to be argued as long as the case of human rights regulated in the international law instrument is not regarded as an ideal standard, but approximately as a minimum standard

Kata Kunci : HAM - Universalitas dan Relativitas - Standar Minimum
