Referring to this case, many investors and prospective foreign investors who will invest their capital in Indonesia have point of view that there is no a legal certainty in Indonesia. According to the writer, the legal uncertainty complained by investors is caused by : the application of regional autonomy, inconsistency of law enforcement, indolence of investment law reform performed by the government, and the publication of regulation which does not support this activity of business world. The implication of this legal uncertainty is : the reduction of foreign investors who invest in Indonesia. This can give negative impact to other economic sectors. The other implication is : foreign investors relocate their industries to other countries that have more conducive investment climate. | | | Download Attachment
